Tyler earned his Eagle Scout award by working around the area surrounding St. Pius X rectory and school parking lot. He cleared away trees and bushes that made it easier for parishoners and school staff to park. He also cleared away shrubs and overgrown grass and brancehes to provide a clear area for church function parking.
Tyler earned a total of 24 Merit Badges from 2011-2013 as part of his requirement to become an Eagle Scout. A sample of some of the badges he earned were: Citizenship in the Community, Nation and World, Environmental Science, Geology, Indian Lore and Wood Carving. A minimum of 21 Merit Badges are required for any Eagle Scout.
Tyler was joined by his mother Tina Auble and other family and friends at the ceremony.
